Hi, I’m Bethany and I am so glad
you are here!
My journey into therapy didn’t start in a classroom. It started when i was a young adult, sitting on the other side of the couch.
about me
Hi, I’m Bethany Wade— therapist, human, and believer in deep healing.
My journey into therapy didn’t start in a classroom. It started when I was 18, sitting on the other side of the couch. My own therapist saw something in me I hadn’t yet seen in myself—and gently encouraged me to consider this path. That moment planted a seed. Eight years (and a lot of growth) later, here I am—with a practice rooted in the same values that helped me heal: safety, honesty, and connection.
my approach
I use a blend of attachment and trauma-informed approaches to support lasting change, always working at your pace. Healing begins with feeling safe, seen, and supported—and that’s the environment I strive to create.
these approaches help bring awareness to your thoughts, behaviors, and emotions, while focusing on how early attachment patterns influence your current relationships. My goal is not just to talk through the problems, but to help you understand and transform the underlying causes. Together, we’ll dive deep into the ways your past is impacting your present and begin the healing process. We’ll go at your pace, always keeping safety, trust, and respect at the core of our work.
Therapy modalities I utilize:
Emotion Focused Therapy
Gottman Level 2, by the Gottman Institute
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy
